MOSCOW, Oct 25 (PRIME) -- Military pension will rise over 6% in Russia in 2019, President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday.

“From October 1, 2019, payments to the armed forces personnel and similar staff will increase by 4.3%, and military pensions will add another 2% from the same date… to get the overall rise in the pensions by 6.3%,” he said.

Putin has ordered the government to allocate funds for the adjustment in the 2019–2021 budget, and asked the legislative authority to support the step.
